Vasilis is an Associate Director in the Property business in Arup and Skills Faculty Leader in Arup University. Vasilis has experience of large and very complex projects in the UK and abroad working in inter-disciplinary teams at every stage from concept through to construction and client handover. He holds a firm belief in the concept of ‘total design’ and the improved quality and economy that can be generated through a truly holistic sustainable design approach. Vasilis has been leading the building services design in the Burlington Project of Royal Academy of Arts, the Welcome project in The National Gallery and the design of the new Museum of London in Smithfield Markets. In all these projects he is pioneering new asset naming protocols, system analytics with open protocol systems and smart enabled building services.
