Timothy is a Director at AA Architecture Ltd based in Manchester, specialising in places of worship and residential buildings, which includes conversion of large spaces as well as new builds. He is a current member of the RIBA and Manchester Society of Architect Councils.

He has been involved in studies relating to High-Rise Fires, its spread, and how architectural design influences fire behaviour. He has published peer reviewed papers on aspects of the topic. His work included investigations into the World Trade Centre fires as well as other high-rise fires, and employed extensive CFD simulation/modelling among other methods.

Timothy has a PHD in The Impact of High-Rise Forms on Fire. He has also been involved in journal paper review for the Institution of Civil Engineers and Book review for the RIBA in other design related topics.
