Thomas Jusselme is the co-founder and co-CEO of Vizcab, the tech company leading the way towards net zero carbon in the construction industry. Driven by a strong attachment to nature and a keen interest in architecture, Thomas found his calling during an inspiring one-year journey through 25 countries with Guillaume Lafont, Vizcab’s co-founder, where they discovered the best practices in sustainable construction. Ten years later, after several entrepreneurial ventures, Thomas and Guillaume co-founded Vizcab.

An environmental engineer with a specialization in industrial design, Thomas holds a PhD in Architecture and Urban Sciences from EPFL. His passion for academia remains strong: since 2019, he has been a Professor of Building Energy Efficiency at HEIA Fribourg and the Smart Living Lab. Throughout his career, Thomas has published over sixty scientific articles and books, contributing significantly to the field of sustainable construction and low-carbon buildings.

Before launching Vizcab, Thomas co-founded an architecture agency and a sustainable construction consultancy firm, where he served as Technical Director for ten years. In this role, he deepened his expertise and drove innovation in sustainable building practices.
