Steve is Head of Delivery at Gateshead College and has led the development of the PlanBEE Higher Apprenticeship and other built environment related projects since 2016.  He has worked as a senior manager in further and higher education colleges across England for over 20 years and has extensive knowledge of apprenticeships and employer-led education and training initiatives. 

As a former apprentice and Estimator/QS himself, Steve is passionate about vocational training and education and providing opportunities for young adults to embark on a successful career in construction and the built environment. 

Steve has spearheaded the collaborative development and expansion of PlanBEE in the North East, Manchester and London, and recently launched PlanBEE Rail with Network Rail and its supply chain partners in Yorkshire.
