Sam currently leads the innovation team at Places for London, TfL’s Property Company. In his current role, Sam oversees a pilot programme for innovation delivery and identifies opportunities for TfL's land to be used as a test bed for sustainable innovation to solve strategic pain points. Over the last four years, he has built a network of exciting innovators in the spaces of the circular economy, smart buildings and property management, regularly working with start-ups, a variety of SMEs and government authorities. Sam recently completed a Masters of Studies in Sustainability Leadership for the Built Environment at the University of Cambridge and has applied this knowledge when drafting Places for London’s sustainability and inclusivity strategy. Sam is NLA expert panellist, UKGBC innovation solutions adviser and a regular contributor to industry events.
