Richard is the Programme Director at the Future Homes Hub, overseeing the Future Homes Delivery Plan that brings the new homes sector together to create net zero homes and sustainable places.

Richard has built a career in innovative construction, first as a structural engineer designing complex structures in the UK, then specialising in offsite technologies before heading up the strategy function for a large steel manufacturer. More recently he founded the NHBC Accepts service for Modern Methods of Construction, before moving to the Future Homes Hub. Richard is an active member of notable industry groups including the Construction Industry Council, Construct Zero, Institution of Structural Engineers, and the New Homes Quality Board.
