Panos is the Sector Manager for Construction and Built Environment, in the Health & Safety Executive Science and Research Centre. Panos works with world class scientists and policy professionals to match their scientific expertise and regulatory insight to address a range of occupational risks.  Panos served the Hellenic Navy from 1989 to 2011 as a Naval Engineer Officer and Chief Engineer. He is a Fellow of IMarEST, Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council and Chartered Scientist with Science Council. He holds a degree in Marine Engineering, a Master’s in Crisis Management, a MBA and an Engineering Doctorate in Chemical Engineering and Analytical Chemistry. Panos sits at and chairs various academic and industrial boards.
