With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and more than two decades specialising in fire safety, Mark is a recognised expert in his field. For the past 16 years, he has contributed to numerous technical committees, helping to shape the industry's standards and regulations.

Recent work includes reviewing of BS EN 1634 and playing a leading role in the development of the Exap for composite fire doorsets, currently in the approval phase before its launch next year.

Mark is also actively lobbying for further changes to improve current standards and help close the compliance gap for fire safety in the UK.

As the Head of Product Management at Winkhaus UK, Mark is responsible for compliance and the accreditation for one of the UK's largest banks of test evidence.
