Jon is a highly motivated and skilled risk practitioner with over 16 years’ experience in Defence, Security and Counter Terrorism. Currently a Senior Leader in Arup’s Resilience, Security and Risk team, Jon operates as a client trusted advisor, Subject Matter Expert, project director and team leader. Jon has a diverse background which includes protective design, risk management and cyber security which he applies to a range of projects globally. Jon has a reputation of building client relationships, developing business strategy and delivering solutions for clients. Jon is driven to solve complex problems and apply his diverse skills and experience to develop high performing teams which provide excellent outcomes for clients. Jon is a chartered mechanical engineer and earnt a PhD in material science. Jon is a Principal of the Register of Security Engineers and Specialists in Hostile Vehicle Mitigation and provides expertise globally on protective design solutions.
