Recently retired from the Fire & Rescue Service, Jan had a long and varied career spanning 26 years. She held key roles in Emergency Planning, Risk Management, Audit & Improvement, Strategic Decision Making and Incident Command.  Jan is passionate about continuous improvement and using data and evidence to achieve a balance between value for money and end-user satisfaction. She has held national roles, including Inspection, Improvement and gender equality. Jan is committed to helping others to succeed and is a successful coach and mentor at a national level.
