James joined Bennetts Associates in 2007. He has led new and adaptive reuse projects for commercial, hospitality and higher education clients for over 15 years, and has invaluable experience in the design and delivery of projects for end-user clients.

James has a wealth of experience in large scale, low carbon projects often involving large stakeholder groups.  He has overseen a variety of projects including the award-winning 5 Pancras Square, providing highly sustainable offices and customer facing facilities for Camden Council; the Student Services Centre for the University of Cambridge; and most recently the design of an ambitious apart-hotel in central Manchester comprising a new 34 storey tower and interlinked conversion of a Grade II Listed building.
