Duncan’s decade-and-a-half-long B2B marketing focus spans three agencies, four major industry sectors and many of the world’s largest and most influential organisations. Duncan joined the Man Bites Dog team in 2015, and now leads the consultancy’s financial services practice – from banking and asset management through to insurance – as well as being a key member of the management team. He takes a thematic approach to campaigns, with a particlar focus on sustainability.

Duncan concentrates on leading global thought leadership programmes that help intelligent companies take a new and differentiated approach to engaging expert audiences, developing big ideas from concept through to measurable impact. His particular area of expertise is leveraging complex data from advanced research methods like economic modelling to deliver stand-out insights that help businesses turn latent expertise into thinking that sets them apart.

One of Duncan’s long-term focus areas is the increasing role of sustainability in global business – from the impact of sustainable finance on emerging market Sustainable Development Goals to ranking 100 of the world’s cities according to their sustainable credentials and progress. He works with clients grappling with both the challenges and opportunities of sustainable frontiers like net-zero transition and climate adaptation – clients like Standard Chartered in sustainable finance and Arcadis on the future of infrastructure and energy.

These ground-breaking campaigns are consistently the source of some of Man Bites Dog’s major award successes, including recent wins at the PRCA Global and B2B Marketing Awards.

As part of his dedication to life-long learning, Duncan recently completed a specialist course at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership on Business & Climate Change: Towards Net Zero. He holds a BA Hons degree from the University of Nottingham.
