Duncan Johnson is Deputy Director, Construction Products Regulation, within the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) who are the UK’s regulator for construction products. He is responsible for building this national regulatory function and for leading construction products regulation in the UK. OPSS is working to prevent construction products posing a safety risk from entering the market and respond quickly and effectively to unsafe construction products placed on the market. OPSS are a departmental office within the Department for Business and Trade and the construction product regulation role is funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
