Having previously worked in Milano as project manager and energy engineer in building construction and management industry, Daniela moved on to the UK sustainability and M&E consultancy holding a position as senior engineer.  She is a Chartered Building Service Engineer and NABERS UK assessor with a demonstrated history of successful delivery of operational energy assessments for design for performance while using advanced HVAC energy modelling. She is currently leading the retrofit and new building energy modelling department in Mace and her current focus is to solve the performance gap between design theory and actual energy use. She brings her skills to help client’s designers, contractors with an understanding of procedures to follow to evaluate energy performance from design stage to in-use and to undertake an effective monitoring exercise. She is also very passionate to promote operational carbon digital tools and more sophisticated rating systems to fully capture the development’s carbon impact and to steer clients to truly achieve net zero carbon targets.

Daniela brings her building physics engineering skills for sustainability and M&E design where her experience is used on a variety of projects across sectors. (e.g. local government, pharma, education, healthcare, commercial offices and residential). She enjoys being involved from the early conceptual design stage and following with continuous commissioning and energy verification.
