With over 20 years in scaffolding and temporary works, I lead and consult across this field, including as a Director at ScaffPlan, an award-winning software company. I am a Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng) and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE), and I enjoy supporting others in achieving the same.

I'm in my 10th year as a Director of the Temporary Works Forum (TWf) and am committed to raising standards and sharing best practices in the construction industry. I was the convenor and co-author of the TWf guidance 'Effective Management of Scaffolding to BS 5975: 2019' that was published in September 2020, and the TWf eLearning training course that goes with it.

I founded 48.3, a specialist scaffolding and access design consultancy, in 2010, leading it for 13 years and establishing it as a respected industry name. I also mentor leaders and teams through Elevation81™, a consultancy I founded to help organisations develop their culture and strategy.
