Starting my career as a firefighter in County Durham and Darlington Fire & Rescue Service allowed me to develop extensive hands-on experience in emergency response and rescue operations. This experience allowed me to transition into the role of Fire Safety Inspector with CDDFRS to focus on fire prevention and safety compliance. Following seven years with CDDFRS, I moved into the role of Senior Fire Safety Business Partner with Home Group to further develop my career and work in a proactive manner to ensure the safety of some of society’s most vulnerable people.
