Alex has combined business strategy, technology and operations in his roles across the Built Environment Sector and now provides support and leadership to the Digital Twin Skills Academy. The academy is set up as a community interest company to deliver opportunities for skills development to under-represented groups in society. The opportunity is about getting the next generation excited about the potential for them in the sector, as well as the value and impact of the built environment. Alex's drive combines his experience across the critical themes of quality, digital and sustainability in the industry. Alex has spent the last decade supporting the sector and particularly manufacturers to connect with decision makers through roles in strategy and policy for UK Government, as a Managing Director of a UK technology platform and as an Operations Director overseeing testing and certification processes.
