As Head of Sector for Jacobs’ Cities & Places business in Europe, Alex is responsible for driving growth and ensuring Jacobs works with clients to solve their greatest challenges.

Having joined Jacobs in 2012 to lead the building design team, Alex has worked across Jacobs markets and geographies in various roles. He has a wealth of experience in the built environment and as a chartered mechanical engineer, he has worked with leading architecture planning and design teams and managed local government businesses for multidisciplinary firms.

Drawing on his time spent in the British Army, Alex brings strategic leadership with a focus on building a collaborative culture. He is also passionate about empowering change to maximise social equity, community benefits and social sustainability.
