Abdul Rob is a Development Innovation Manager based in London. With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Abdul has a rich background in architecture and project management. He has worked across various sectors, including education, housing, mixed-use developments, retail, and site planning.

Currently, Abdul serves as the Development Innovation Manager at L&Q, where he leads the design and technical aspects of standardisation and MMC within the housing portfolio and projects L&Q are partnered with.

Through research and development inhouse has helped design a range of L&Q modular products for use within L&Q projects.

His role involves coordinating with consultants, stakeholders, and clients to ensure the successful implementation of new housing designs incorporating MMC.

Abdul’s career is marked by his technical creativity and business acumen, enabling him to deliver complex projects from inception to completion. He specializes in modern construction methods such as Timber Frame Housing and modular systems, and has been instrumental in pushing the boundaries of technical construction through standardisation and innovative methodologies.

Abdul’s contributions have been recognized with awards, including the Offsite Construction Awards 2022 for BIM/Digital Construction.
