TWf aims and objectives

The Temporary Works Forum aims to encourage open discussion and sharing of knowledge of any matter related to temporary works in construction.

Forum membership is subscription-based and is open to any organisation within the construction industry, large or small, whether client, designer, principal contractor, specialist, supplier, industry body or academia.

The primary objectives of TWf with regard to temporary works include the following:

• Provision of authoritative guidance about temporary works matters
• Consideration of aspects of permanent works and the interface between permanent and temporary works, including current practice and likely development
• Raising awareness of trends and innovations in design, construction and use
