Most asset teams are plagued with poor quality asset information – poor historic records, poor handover information or poor digital records from refurb, inspection or maintenance works.

Most asset teams think of BIM as 3D models for new-build, and don’t realise it is designed to produce structured, auditable and reusable asset information.

BIM (Better Information Management) doesn’t require 3D.
